Why We Do What We Do

Jungle Driving School was created with one clear goal: to prepare drivers for real life, not just the road test. Too often, new drivers leave traditional programs knowing the rules but lacking the confidence and situational awareness needed once they’re on their own.

Driving in El Paso presents unique demands. Richie is passionate about empowering people of all ages to protect themselves, think clearly under pressure, and develop both physical skill and mental resilience.

Shelly Hatch

Instructor

With a background in self-defense instruction and youth leadership, Shelly brings a people-centered approach to training and mentorship. She has taught practical self-defense skills and helped lead teens on overseas trips, guiding them through new challenging environments. These experiences shaped her passion for teaching confidence, situational awareness, and personal responsibility, while creating supportive spaces where students feel empowered to grow, learn, and lead.
