About Me

Born and raised in St. Louis, Shannon has spent her entire career helping people learn — first as a second-grade teacher, then across 25 years in corporate technology, most recently as Vice President of Training & Education. She holds an MBA from Saint Louis University and founded her own consultancy before deciding her next chapter needed to be closer to home — and closer to the community she loves. Shannon launched Jungle Driving School STL alongside her husband Ben, her partner in both life and business, to bring something St. Louis genuinely needs: driver education that takes the craft of teaching seriously.

My Jungle Mission

Driving matters. Shannon knows this not just as an educator, but personally — she lost three close family friends to car accidents during her high school and college years, young people whose families she still thinks about today. That loss lives alongside her in everything she builds here. Her mission is straightforward: give every student who walks through our doors the real skills, genuine confidence, and road awareness to come home safe. Shannon, Ben, and their son Finn are proud to call St. Louis home — and proud to invest in keeping its roads a little safer, one new driver at a time.
