Frequently asked questions

In Wisconsin, you must be 15 and have an instruction permit to complete the behind-the-wheel portion of drivers education. With that said, many students choose to begin their online class earlier because it does take some time (30 hours total, with a maximum time limit of 2 hours per day). At Jungle Driving School, we generally say 14 years, 9 months is a perfect time to start your online curriculum. That way you can finish that portion just as you are turning 15, and move on to the behind-the-wheel portion of training. Our safari skills workshop is supplemental to state requirements and can be completed at anytime.

Our basic services include online curriculum and behind the wheel drives for both teens and adults. We also offer a hands-on learning workshop to bring lessons to life!

To complete 6 Hours of Behind the Wheel and 6 Hours of Observation, students will enroll in (6) 2 Hour driving lessons — In each lesson, 2 students will be in the car and take turns doing 1 hour of behind the wheel and 1 hour of observation. Additional behind the wheel lessons can be purchased in 1 or 3 hour increments.

We currently start and end drives at our office (1020 James Dr Suite G Hartland, WI 53029). If interested in pick up/drop off at school, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

We ask for at least 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a jungle expedition. Late changes result in a $50 fee. No shows result in a $75 fee.

If you’re late, your expedition time may be shortened. If you're more than 15 minutes late, it will be considered a no-show and will result in a $50 fee.

Yes! Every Jungle Instructor is state-certified, background-checked, and trained to lead students safely through the wilderness of learning.
