At Jungle Driving School, your student will embark on an epic safari through state-required training and behind-the-wheel training! That means 30 hours of classroom or online adventures, and 6 hours of hands-on jungle navigation all led by our Certified Guide Instructors.

The jungle never sleeps—but we do! Our driving adventures are flexible to help adapt to the needs of busy families and individuals. Our classroom expedition schedule changes with the seasons, so be sure to check the “REGISTER” tab for current times.

We take jungle treasure in the form of Credit Card or Check. Returned checks will result in a $40 fee assessed by Jungle Driving. A 3% surcharge will be added to all credit card transactions to cover processing costs.

First, you’ll need a valid Iowa Learner’s Permit. Then, pack your courage and curiosity—we’re heading deep into a jungle of learning and fun!

Each lesson is 2 hours long, one hour of driving and one hour of observation —flexible enough to fit your schedule like a snug hammock.

Not at this time, all scheduled drives will start and end at basecamp.

Our Jungle cars are dual-controlled, adventure-ready, and fully insured. They’re well-maintained beasts, tamed for student safety!

Our wise instructors will give regular feedback and lead you through mock missions (practice tests) to ensure you’re ready to swing into success on test day.

Tuition is refundable if cancellation occurs 7 days prior to the class in which the student is enrolled. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 7 days or after class begins; students may rebook a future class for a $50 administrative fee. Jungle Driving School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions. If a student is removed from class for misbehavior, credit will not be given. 

If you’re late, your expedition time may be shortened. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, it may be a no-show, and you’ll miss the trek! No-show results in a $50 penalty

Yes! Every Jungle Guide Instructor has their Behind the Wheel Driving Instructor Authorization, background-checked, and trained to lead adventurers safely through the wilderness of learning.

Absolutely! Whether you’re a timid turtle or a curious cub, we specialize in helping new explorers feel confident and calm.

While we don’t offer them directly, many insurance tribes (companies) give a 10–15% discount to drivers who complete a driver’s ed safari like ours. Be sure to ask your provider!
